Our education system is such that it encourages learning gap between students. Once a student falls weak in his early education, the gap continue to increase and it might at some time become a reason for giving up on studies/learning. Students after graduating becomes working citizens of nation and here also same mentality prevails but as govt. tries to uplift the society through affirmative actions such as reservation, the normal student thinks its unjustified to giving favors to few people. He was never taught - to walk with others, - to help others - that it is for betterment of society that we should all rise together but instead he was taught to not help those who are weak, and trample them to get top rank in the class. So we should try to put a habit of team work from beginning. We should teach them that the journey to path of success will bring more joy if he takes others along with him.
